AIicia Liu

Ms. Liu is a distinguished pianist with a Master’s degree in Piano Performance from the Mannes School of Music, where she studied under Blair McMillen. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor's degree, guided by John Milbauer and Rex Woods, and was awarded multiple scholarships.

Starting piano at age five, Ms. Liu trained under esteemed pianists like Cui Honggen, Daniel Epstein, and Sandra Shapiro. She has won first prizes in the Yamaha National Piano Competition and the Yamaha Academy Cup, and placed in international competitions, including the Yongchang Music Piano Competition and the Liszt Cup International Piano Festival. She has performed with the Zhangjiakou City Chinese Symphony Orchestra and in various cities worldwide.

With over six years of teaching experience, Ms. Liu is well-versed in piano pedagogy, including methods taught by Jane Magrath. She is an active member of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), and her students have excelled in the ABRSM and NYSSMA exams, with one gaining admission to the Xi'an Conservatory of Music. Ms. Liu is dedicated to her students and is committed to excellence in music education.
